Mission ST6 Factor Label Method Mass to Mass Conversions

Mission ST6 pertains to the use of the factor label method to convert from the given mass of a reactant to the mass of product (or vice versa) or from the given mass of one reactant to the mass of a second reactant. Students must be comfortable with the conversion factor method of unit cancellation. The mission consists of 24 questions organized into 6 Question Groups.

Learning Outcomes

  • The student should be able to identify the factor label solution for a stoichiometry problem involving a mass-to-mole-to-mole-to-mass conversion.
