Mission TC2 Heat and Temperature

Mission TC2 pertains to concepts of temperature and heat transfer. Students must use a model of heat as the flow of energy from a high temperature object to a low temperature object. The mission consists of 32 questions organized into 8 Question Groups.

• The student should be able to describe and explain the distinction between heat and temperature.
• The student should be able to explain the importance of a temperature difference between the system and surroundings upon the direction of heat flow.
